How do I get a SIM?

Getting your free SIM is easy. Simply provide us your contact details and shipping address to place your order.
Please find our estimated time of delivery:
  • UK: within 5 working days
  • Europe: within 5 working days
  • China: within 7 working days
  • Rest of the world: within 20 working days
If you haven't received your free SIM by the estimated delivery time, please feel free to contact us quoting your order reference number found in the order confirmation email.
To activate your free SIM, Top Up anytime anywhere. You can use it right away with our competitive Pay As You Go rates, or subscribe to any of our plans for even more benefits. For more details, see Pick your plan or Pay As You Go.
After you've activated your free SIM, keep it topped up at least once every 3 months (with £10 or above) to ensure it remains valid. If not, your SIM will become dormant, and after 30 days it will expire and no longer be valid. Within the dormant period, you can still top up your SIM to re-activate it. The validity of your SIM will be reset from the date that it was dormant.
Please contact your mobile service provider for the Porting Authorization Code (PAC). At the same time, you can get a free CMLink SIM. Upon receiving and activating our SIM, you can contact us for the port-in.

Tell me more about Topping up

Visit the Top Up page where you can choose to pay with Visa / Master / Wechat Pay / AliPay / UnionPay.
You can find it at the back of your SIM. If you have inserted the SIM into your phone, you can dial *187# to receive a text with information about your mobile number.
After you pay for a top up transaction on our third-party payment gateway, please return to our website to see the confirmation. You can also text BALANCE to 10086 from your CMLink SIM enabled phone to check if the top up amount is reflected in your balance. If there’s any issue with your Top Up, please contact us.
You can dial 185 or text BALANCE to 10086 from your CMLink SIM enabled phone.

Questions about Plans and Pay As You Go

You can use your SIM with balance right away with our competitive Pay As You Go rates. But enjoy more benefits by subscribing to any of our contract-free Plans - which we call them Data Growth Packs. We'll reward you with extra 5% of data free each month, up to a total of 200%. Check them out!
When your SIM has enough balance, you can subscribe to any of our Plans by texting a code. Click here for more details.
Once you have subscribed to our Data Growth Pack, from the following month onwards, as long as you are with us on the 1st of each month, we will reward on the 5th with free extra data from 5%, 10%, 15%... up to 200%, month to month.

You will receive a text notification when the extra data has been credited to your account.

Tip: Make your life easier and set the balance for your Data Growth Pack to auto-renewal.

First, text CANCEL (SPACE)(Your Current Pack Code) to 10086. For example:
CANCEL 5 / CANCEL 10 / CANCEL 18
Then subscribe to the new Pack by texting the respective code, such as GP 5 / GP 10 / GP 18 to 10086.

  1. Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile networks > APN
  2. Create APN > Enter "everywhere" to both Name and APN fields, leave other information blank > Save
  3. Tap "Back". Make sure "everywhere" APN is selected
iOS
Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options; Enter "everywhere", leave other information blank > Return

Tips: Don't forget to turn on "Data Roaming" if you are travelling outside of the UK.

With a valid Data Growth Pack or at least 10p in your balance, you can enjoy 1,000 minutes of voice calls per month from the UK to China Mobile numbers in the mainland China for free. China Mobile numbers in the mainland China are determined by the following prefixes, excluding any landlines:

(+86) 1340-1348, 135-139, 147, 148, 150-152, 157-159, 178, 182-184, 187, 188, 198

After exceeding the 1,000 minutes allowance, you will be charged at 2p per minute.
With a valid Data Growth Pack or at least 10p in your balance, you can enjoy 1,000 minutes of voice calls per month for free from the UK to China Mobile numbers in the mainland China with designated prefixes. Exceeding the 1,000 minutes allowance or calling numbers by other operators in the mainland China will be charged at 2p per minute.

You can contact us anytime to request a new SIM. For security and peace of mind, we may ask you a few questions to confirm your identity, such as your SIM number, last top up etc. Any remaining balance from your lost SIM can be transferred to the new one, except if the lost SIM has already expired.
